Hi, everyone — it's day 10 of the diet and I am feeling great! The Motivated Moms were excited that we won the food challenge, and are happy with our weight loss, so far.

Our most recent challenge was the fitness competition. Suffice it to say, we had a blast. We discovered many new things about each other as a team. Who can Hula Hoop and who can jump rope; who can dive and who can run (note that ice is slippery, even in sneakers). I can't give any results away — you'll all have to tune in on January 26 and see for yourselves!

As far as the diet is concerned, I think I am ready to call it a "way of life." I do not feel deprived of anything. Sure, I'm not eating cake and cookies, chips and crackers, but I feel GREAT! I know I will be able to add those things back to my regular diet, within reason, once I reach my goal. Meanwhile, I am still losing weight, albeit slower than last week, but at least the scale is moving down and not up.

I have also definitely noticed that my children are eating far better than they used to. They love all the meals I make and I am using all the recipes from Joy's book.

This week we had a muffin swap, using all 5 muffin recipes. Some were more successful than others, but it was fun to trade them and compare. Being a part of the Motivated Moms is making everything that much easier. If you can get a group together to do this with, I highly recommend it!

I can't wait until the end of the week to see our results. I know we are all going to be down even more!
