This Is Not a Diet!

Today is day 13 of my lifestyle change. I no longer call it a diet, because I truly look at this new way of eating and exercising as a new way to live my life. I feel so much better although I have not lost any weight this second week. I did go down 2 lbs but then I went up the 2 lbs. That could be attributed to getting my period today and I usually gain a couple of lbs at this time of the month. I am happy to say that my PMS symptoms were nonexistent this time, which I attribute to this healthy way of eating and exercising.
Thursday we did the fitness challenge. That was great fun. You'll have to tune in to the Today show on January 26 to see the results! We also received these awesome Polar FT60 watch and heart monitors, which keeps track of our heart rates, calories burned, etc. They are a very helpful tool in setting and getting to exercising goals.
