It is exciting to reach the end of our challenge, and we are all very happy with our combined weight loss. I was personally happy with my loss after the dedication I invested into my new lifestyle. Seriously, though, my wife, Maria, and my girls, Olivia (14) and Zoe (10) have benefited incredibly from this guidance. I am pleased that our family worked together to achieve our goals of health and fitness. We are creating new healthy habits that will be passed on to our children's children and beyond.

My team, "Fit Friends," have all done great. When we started this challenge we were far from fit. Some of us had pre-existing conditions and others were on the verge of serious ailments that were discovered during our physicals. Now we are all feeling fabulous and are driven to become the "Fit Friends to the End". We have vowed to continue our losses and enjoy all our newfound energy. I for one have not felt this good since I was 17 and I never want to let go of this feeling. Joy has really turned on a spark in me as well as my team and we can't thank her enough.

I am now down 23 lbs. and still have 22 more lbs. to my goal. I have noticed that if I turn up the intensity during my workout then my Polar heart rate monitor warns me that although I am burning a big number of calories, the fat calorie percentage burn is very low. When I turn the intensity down I get a lessor calorie burn but I burn a bigger percentage of fat calories. Keep your workout to a low impact cardio for bigger and quicker weight loss.

I have had lots of inquires at my salon by clients and friends alike. Most people want to know how I did it and how they can get started. You have to be motivated. If you have questions of your own, e-mail me at basil@nyjungle.com and I will get back to you with the answers. Get healthy and good luck.
