Jon hails from the Lansing, Michigan, area. In 2007, he
weighed 430 pounds, had high blood pressure, and had been recently diagnosed
with type 2 diabetes. Determined to turn his life around, Jon started walking
every day, cut his portions in half, and dropped over 100 pounds. In 2008,
he met Joy Bauer through a mutual friend and signed on to her plan to
knock off the remaining excess weight and reach his ultimate goal. Today Jon is
a fit 200 pounds and looks and feels like a new man. The weight loss helped him
feel comfortable dating again; he met his soul mate and the couple recently got
married in a beautiful spring ceremony. Jon and his wife love getting active
together and supporting each other in a healthy lifestyle.
