Whip up this fizzy and flavorful drink to satisfy thirst and boost your health. Tart cherries have been shown to help relieve aches and pains associated with arthritis and reduce soreness after an intense workout. Pour yourself 8 ounces of this beneficial beverage and then freeze the extra liquid in an ice cube tray and defrost as needed. Enjoy.

This recipe makes 5 Servings
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups no-sugar-added tart cherry juice blend
  • 1 cup frozen pitted sweet cherries
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger, or up to 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 3 cups cherry-flavored sparkling water or seltzer
Preparation:

Puree the cherry juice, frozen cherries, lemon juice, and ginger in a blender until completely smooth.

Transfer to a large pitcher and add the sparkling water and plenty of ice.
