Coat a skillet with oil spray and preheat over medium heat. Crack the egg directly into the skillet. Cook until the egg white is cooked through (no longer clear) and the yolk is partially set, but not hard. Carefully remove the egg from the skillet using a spatula and place it on top of the waffle.
