This recipe makes 8 Servings
Ingredients:
  • 10 ounces Brussels sprouts
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ to ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 ounces cooked turkey bacon
Preparation:

First, shred the Brussels sprouts: Slice off woody stems and remove any tough or dried outer leaves. Then, cut each sprout in half lengthwise and thinly slice from root to top. Gently tease apart the layers. (Alternatively, you can buy pre-shredded Brussels sprouts.)

Heat skillet over medium heat and add oil. Sauté shredded Brussels sprouts with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt & pepper to taste (mist as needed with olive oil spray). After they’re nice and soft (about 10 mins), add crumbled, cooked turkey bacon and toss before serving.
