As far as cocktails go, this one has a lot to offer. The red wine contains disease-fighting antioxidants and the sliced fruit kicks in a dose of fiber. Top each glass with a generous splash of seltzer to dilute the calories and so you can savor the drink a little longer.

This recipe makes 8 Servings
Ingredients:
  • 1 bottle of red wine
  • 3/4 cup 100% orange juice
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 green apple, sliced
  • 1 pear, sliced
  • Cinnamon stick
  • 16 ounces flavored seltzer (pomegranate, cranberry or orange)
Preparation:

In a pitcher, combine wine, orange juice, orange liqueur, fresh fruit slices and cinnamon. Refrigerate for at least four hours.

Pour into glasses and finish with two ounces of seltzer per glass for a fizzy finale.
