- 1 bag tea, green or 1 tbsp loose green tea leaves in a tea ball

Bring 1 cup water to a boil. Add the ginger and boil for 30 seconds more. Remove from the heat, and add the tea bag or tea ball. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the milk and sugar, if using.
Note: Two tablespoons skim milk adds 10 calories. One teaspoon sugar or honey adds 20 calories.
